Actually I realize my post was misleading.. .this food is actually higher protein then they were on before... they were on super low protein food for their livers and after much research and thought and discussion with vets I decided that it may be more harmful in the end game and raised their protein slightly, so I meant in comparison to all dog foods it is fairly low on the spectrum... but for them it is actually an increase so maybe this is the reason... are you more confused now?
