Rose was starting to degenerate rather quickly. Stumbling, not eating well, etc. We took her to our regular vet a couple of weeks ago and said our final good-byes. It was so sad to do it, but I knew things were only going to get worse for her. She left us while she was still in as good a place as she could be. I feel rather good that she didn't get to the point of being in horrible pain all the time before we made the decision. Though, we miss her terribly... I haven't posted about it because it is really hard to talk about... I am sure everyone understands. I mean, I don't want to forget her, but the sadness is so deep, it is almost easier to just go on without thinking about it...
