Just wanted to offer some reassuring words about spaying......my Yorkie was just under 4 lbs. when she was spayed, and things couldn't have gone better. I allowed the vet to do all of the blood work prior to the surgery, just to be as safe as possible. Daisy was up and around the next day like nothing had even happened......it was a challenge to keep her from running and jumping per the doctor's orders. So, size doesn't necessarily need to be a problem, and spaying is so important!
