As Nancy stated, some puppies, especially boys and those that are a bit larger...not so much with the small ones. As they teeth and as their little testicles drop they may go down. Just make sure you keep the weight off them. Keep them trimmed, weekly....before his bath. If the stay down for more than a few days, they may need to be tapped just to help themn stay up. There's different methods of doing it....some with surgical, breathable guaze tape, it does not hurt to take it off. Believe me I've had to assist a few pups ears to stand and the methods I use to remove the tape, they don't even know it.
