Layla turned 8 months on the 15th. I was thinking about looking for a good vet for getting her fixed but she is just 3 pounds so I wanted to wait till she was (if ever) 4 pounds. I thought I was safe from her heat until around 10 months. I was wrong.

Had to pick up some stuff at Home Depot and the Big R for my MIL, and when we got back in the truck I had blood on my arm where she had been. Sure enough, she is in heat. Not much swelling just a bit of blood.

She is sleeping right now and I am covering my furniture with washable sheets and old blankets! LOL

Guess I have about 5 months to set up the fixing before this happens again.
