The wheezing is a part of this ugly condition. Just as you said here, it affects the diaphragm. Some dogs wheeze worse then others. Sassy was so bad she couldn't breath without the meds. So yes keep a close eye on it as it can get worse quickly. Little Miss Bella sure is a cute little thing.
