Livie had her first accident today. So far..until today she hasn't fallen, gotten hurt or anything! So I was so scared when it happened. We were leaving for a yorkie meetup and I let her and Maggie run in my building hallway like always to follow me to the elevator. Before the elevator came I was getting both their leashes and going to pick them both up. But before I could get Livie the elevator door swung open and got poor Livie's paw stuck underneath the door. She was crying in pain. To make it worse she was stuck, but I pulled her paw out and pushed the door. I was so scared she was going to break her paw or something. She cried as I held her all the way back to my apt. She even had peed on herself from how scared she was or from the shock. So I massaged her paw and gave her nutrical and she stopped crying. I checked everything to make sure nothing was messed up and luckily she is fine! She was limping at first but now she is walking normally. My poor baby!!
I think my whole building heard her. Good thing she is okay now and had a fun day playing with other Yorkies.
