I think so.
Heartworms are not something you wanna deal with if they get them. Can be deadly and it's a really terrible treatment of being confined for months, etc.
Jackson gets Iverhart Plus and I think it's basically the same to Heartguard Plus. But I'm pretty certain the dosage is smaller.
