Multivitamin??

There are so many different answers on here, from another breeder I've been talking to and from my vet...just want to make 100% sure....how do you know what is the right answer?

Thanks!!
I can only tell you what I do.
When pregnant moms are about 5 weeks along I start them on Puppy Kibbles food. I leave them on puppy food until the pups are weaned.
They also get 2 small meals a day of soaked kibbles with small amount of canned puppy food, sometimes I add a little cheese, cottage cheese, hamburger or a little boiled egg on top.
I increase the soft meals to 3-4 times a day while they are nursing.

I NEVER add any calcium supplements before whelping.
Supplements are fine to use after pups are born.
Personally, I don't use the calcium supplements to often, if I do use it it's 1/2 tums twice a day sprinkled on the food.
I've never had a calcium problem.

I've never used Multivitamins.

I also never give or use any chemicals on pregnant moms like heartworm or flea meds.

Hope this help.
