As noted in another post, I have recently adopted my first Yorkie, and am now trying to find out all I can about what's best for her. I am currently feeding a commercial raw diet which I have my Minature Schnauzer on for health reasons (allergies, pancreatitis) She seems to be doing well on this diet, but I was wondering if there was any conventional wisdom about the best fat content for Yorkies? I know for a schnauzer it should be around 12% (and in my case lower), but I was wondering about the Yorkie...my girl is a little heavy at 4.4lbs...probably should be closer to 3.5...but otherwise very healthy and active.
