Can you just go back the Plus instead of the max? The Plus is comparable to Heartgard Plus. Regular Heartgard (not the Plus) is just for heartworms...not intestinal (no pyrantel added). Or Interceptor (or even Sentinel which is Interceptor plus lufeneron to stop fleas from reproducing) is a great product.
