Most worms are covered by whatever heartworm meds you are using. The
tapeworm more than likely is not covered. I don't think you have to bring the dog in since you have a "sample".
You can call your vet and ask if you can come in for some worm meds. The tapeworm is taken care of by a pill... one time dose.
