Thank you thats what I thought as well. I did not even realize the vet had switched her to the Max vs the Plus until Lexi was not feeling well and I pulled her records from last summer to compare.
I did call emergency vet and they said highly unlikely that it is the Iverhart. Advised to watch for any swelling or breathing difficulties. Gums are pink and she is hydrated. I will call her regular vet in the AM and watch her close tonight. I still think it is the Iverhart. Is there a good heartworm preventative without the added parasite poisons? Then treat for worms if that occur?
