Lexi had her dose of INverhart Max 60 hours ago and has been having symptoms of shakiness, sleepiness lethargy. She was on Inverhart Plus last summer and never had this reaction. She is now over the magical 6 lb mark so the vet gave her the Max which includes the tapeworm preventative.

I will be calling vet first thing in the morning to report this. Since she has eaten a little today and drank water, gums pink I think this is not an emergency. She just is not feeling well at all, poor baby. You know how you can just tell with them.
Anyone else have issues with Inverhart Max? Everything I have read says a reaction can occur up to 72 hours after dosage. Also suggestions for a safer heartworm med would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
