Since they didn't appear to be to knowledgeable about the breed I bet they were confusing silky coat with what he technically is called. I don't like the fact that the breeder gave him away but wants rights to continue to use him as a stud. I would have respected her a little more if she had him neutered then found him a great home. Because as far as she knows the person she gave him to could be pimping him out to every maltese and pomeranian in town.
