Default confused...Is is true?

Today at the dog park, I met a lady with a yorkie and he was her service dog. He had light silver backing and was very cute. She told me that he is a stud and he was 4 years old. She got him for free from a breeder in Sacramento because the breeder had too many dogs. However, her son knew the breeder so he got it for free from his son. The catch was that they had to let them use him as a stud. The lady kept telling me that he is yorkie but he is "silky breed", which is what his breeder told her. Is there such thing????? I thought all yorkies are yorkies but they just are all very different. She also told me that the "silky breed" live longer and can be bred until 8 years of age. I was shocked when I heard this because I thought that they should only be bred from 2-4 years old. I decided to come here from some accuracies. She was a really nice lady. She even offered to stud him for free with my Emma, but she is too young and small in size.

Well, overall, dog park today was great, I got a FREE puppia harness and poop bag with a case from this very nice old man because he got extras.
