interesting - I've never ever used 'diapers' on my girls - I just waited till they were trained or watched them like a hawk when they were puppies & out with them -but I'd think she'd be ok.....why does she not have a tail if you don't mind me asking ?
Your daughter is brave having white carpet - pet or no pet - what a nightmare that would be to keep up with
