Pica in humans and dogs is usually do to a dietary deficiency. However you are feeding Wellness so that point should be moot.

Eating abnormal amounts of grass, sticks, or coprophagia may be symptoms of an underlying chronic disease; or it may just be a 7 month old with teething issues. I would try to correct the behavior now. Make sure that while out in the yard you are replacing the sticks with other chewies like bully's, flossies, tendons; something that he should be eating, and that he also likes to eat. So you may have to experiment with several new treats. You may also want to stuff a Kong with a little peanut butter and freeze it for about 10-15 minutes, just enough to cool it down, that might help if it is teething.

Give yourself, and him, time for you to get the behavior changed, as it probably is just that; behavior. However, if you cannot, say within several weeks, I would definitely then consider a CBC or urinalysis for any type of organ dysfunction.

Hope this helps.....
