Practical clothing is a necessity for all Yorkie Owners.
I have found that many cloths do not fit my Yorkie well.
Very few brand names work for her.
I opted to start sewing and have made her some of her favorite jackets, capes, harnesses, sun dresses and hats. Even foot wear.
In the meanwhile, I have found that I get the best deals from EBay.
The Casual Canine brand fits her great and she looks really good in her pink hoodie!
I have got her waterproof boots, open toed sandals and a rain coat that all worked great. Measuring our Yorkies first is critical in order to get the best fit possible.
Pictures online of dog cloths give me many great ideas.
I also found that my Yorkie dislikes the tearing sound of velcro as well as anything pulling over her head, that is tight.
Sewing for her allows me the creative option of finding other fasteners that she approves better of.
Snaps as well as hooks and eyes.

My pup loves it. As soon as the scissors and paper comes out, she is right there to start fitting her patterns. So cute! I believe she understands what is up.
In the making, she can be busily playing and when I sit down on the floor with her half tailored outfit and ask her to come help me, she stops what she is doing and is right there. stands and waits until the additional fitting is done. Then happily runs back to what she was doing.
I feel this is just another way that helps my Yorkie and I bond.
She wears her outfits I make for her proud.
The latest addition to her attire has been some black and white high top runners.
