I understand how worried you are - I would be, too. The baby teeth do need to come out at some point. I'm just wondering if he had problems before, and if it's possible you might get a different doctor that you like better. Do you have any confidence in the current doctor? |
Bonny, He didn't have any problems when he was neutered, and he was 7oz's smaller then. The clinic has gone through 3 different vets since I have had Bailey, because the original vet was sick, now the owner/vet is back and she just called me. I told her my concern and she said with small dogs they are aways extra cautious. I mentioned about the collapsed trachea, and she said that wasn't an issue usually, unless there was already a problem present. She has a CHi with CT. She told me she couldn't understand why the vet that neutered him didn't remove his baby teeth. She also suggested I have him hooked up to an IV just as a precaution, what do you think? I have an app for Bailey on the 26th and my stomach is in knots
