Sounds to me as if the vet really did want to xray and that most likely would have resulted in a referral to a neurologist (they don't refer to a specialist without clear signs/symptoms and it sounds like pain was the only one...an xray would have been the next step).....but, I have a strong feeling that it would not have changed the end result. DaVinci seems to have been a very sick puppy. Just so unbelievably tragic.  |
in california we do not need referrals to see specialists you can walk right in to ucdavis no problem it is not like other states- i have never had to get a referral to see a specialist for any reason
