I know how you feel. My Tucker still had 4 baby teeth at 7 mths that were crowding his permanent teeth. After doing a bunch of research, I decided to have them taken out when he was neutered. He was neutered at 8 mths and they removed 9 baby teeth and neutered and kept him 2 days because he was groggy from the anesthetic and the whole thing cost me under $300. I was so worried about him going under. He came out of it like a trooper but his bite is permanently distorted due to those baby teeth. His Bottom canines don't grow straight up, they sort of are at an angle like a wart hog but not to that extent, you can't see them unless he is catching a ball or something. He is not a show dog so that's ok, but I wish I had known this could happen and I would have acted sooner. |
