Me too, I am so confused and time has kinda been all jumbled with things going on, So I should clarify she was in heat and stopped bleeding by time i left her with my mom. which was like almost three weeks ago, As my partner before being checked in the final hospital was in the er one night, back the next, and then checked into a new hospital a few days later. OK that makes a little more sense. From what I understand a bitch can only get pregnant once the bleeding STOPS. So since she was with the male after the bleeding there is a very good change that she is pregnant. There have been MANY discussions about using diapers or clothing to try to stop penetration. Now my real concern is if it is too late to spay.
I'm very worried about her because what I DO know is that 8 months is way too young and 4 lbs is way to small for puppies.
Totally not attacking you here~what has happened is why we are always begging, preaching, encouraging for spay and neutering. You just NEVER know what might happen and when it does it can be bad........really bad
Please call the vet first thing and INSIST that she be seen. If he cannot take you call another. It really is THAT important and could be life or death is not addressed immediately.
