The following week I was getting a bite to eat before school at a little Italian restaurant.......who walks in.....Carrie! She sat across from me and said "do you mind" I replied "just don't make me cry"

We had the most amazing conversation and great laughs; I skipped class and had a few beers with my new 67 year old, wise, intelligent witty friend.

She was with me through divorce, break ups, ups down you name it. I was with her through the hip replacement to the retirement center. We spoke on the phone about once a week and she always made me laugh and left me with a "thought of the day".

Feeling really empty right now

Thanks for letting me spill my sadness~
Dear Wendy, I am so sorry, Carrie is someone that will always be very special to you, wonderful friends and happy memories are to be cherished. Sounds like you were very special to her and for her too, being with her through all the transitions she had to go through, hip replacement and moving into a retirement center isn't easy at our age, how blessed you both were to have such a wonderful friendship and those many years of helping one another.
(((((( HUGS)))))) from us both, Patti and Jack
