Not according to my beautician, whom I asked where to get my new
scissors sharpened when they got dull, hence the insight about buying
cheaper ones. She used the cheap ones and they last forever she said.
When and if they dull she just throws them away and get's another pair.
If their good enough for her to use on my hair they would have been
good enough to use on Buddy. Don't ever use them on anything other
than hair. Mine do not have the rounded edges also something I never
thought about.
