My girl has really long hair and elastics do pull. I had her hair up in one everyday and everytime I cut that elastic out and comb her head I get a bit of fluff.
I have been usuing little goodie non-slip clips that I got at CVS. I pull her hair up like im going to put it into a pony tail, twist and plop the clip in. Its so fantastic, I wish I had picked them up sooner.
If we are having a fancy day I'll put her hair up with an elastic & clip on bow, but for around the house the goodie clip is perfect.
