I like Karrie's suggestions. I don't know these people like you do...but maybe trying to offer suggestions to cope with the new puppy will make them more willing to give up the puppy if they need to. Often people don't realize the work involved in raising a good companion. If they feel judged they might get defensive and not ask for help until it is too late. |
