Exactly! The people who we got Crosley from kept her in the basement because they felt she was hyper and barked a lot (she was 3 months old.) It was lazy, they didn't want to fool with or take the time to train her. I think a lot of people get caught up in how cute and adorable a puppy is and do very little if any research on what kind of work and commitment is involved!
Children don't train themselves and neither do dogs!
