Don't you need to work to make money to spoil the dog? Don't these dogs need homes? Sometimes it just doesn't make sense to me. Another customer heard his conversation with the adoption lady, and she told him, sometimes you just have to lie.

Now that I am a foster mom, I interview potential adoptive parents too. I feel there is absolutely NO reason to be mean and power trippy. If you don't feel the person is a match, then they are not, but I dont understand why some have to be so downright mean.
unfortunately, that's the truth! when i got my pup, it said on the form, "have you had a pet before? where is it now?"

truth is, i had a cat before my daughter was born 7 years ago - and when i got pregnant, i had to move into an apartment - blah blah blah. my aunt was dying to take my cat way before this because she loved her - so when i got in a tight spot, i let her have her (she still has her btw).

anyway, i put on my application NO- haven't had pets before. there are so many animals being put to death and they want to interrogate you! i can understand being concerned in the case of puppy mills or animal abusers - but really? that person was right - sometimes it's easier to lie!

oh, the funny part is that after i filled out the application, the lady said something, and my husband was like, "yeah, we had a cat..." and i nudged him! good timing right after i said we had no pets!
