Not to hijack the thread, but years ago one of my pups woke me up in the middle of the night....blood was all over the place. Rushed him to the EC and at first they thought it was HGE. He was admitted and by morning was fine....they felt he had eaten grass and a blade of grass had cut his intestines. I told the vet that was impossible since Maxwell did not eat grass. Took me a couple of days to figure it out......he used to eat the sunflower seeds my birds tossed out. One of the seeds had done it!

OK....as to the peanuts...I would call my vet to be on the safe side, but I doubt it will be a problem.
