My little puppy have very thin soft silky hair. I read somewhere that it will become thinker when he gets older. (Let me know if this is true. I hope so.)
Also the hair on the top of his head, which is thin and sparce has black tips and is otherwise almost white or a light tan down to the roots. It looks like the black is growing out. And, because the hair is so light at the roots, it makes you think you are seeing his scalp. But closer inspection shows that there is hair - it is just very light (not thick) - and almost white - for now. Will this hair thicken and darken????
Actually, my yorkie pup seems to have a multitude of colors around his head and face. I am only hoping it will get thicker. I have a pet and not a show dog, and any color is just fine with me.
