We have stainless..I have the GE. profile series..and LG. dishwasher. We went with the shiny stainless..In my opinion it looks nicer than the smudge free. The smudge free is sort of dull and takes away from the look of stainless. We do have a little more up keep. Well, alot..but it is easy and it looks so gorgeous! We like the modern look too!
