i'm not really sure what model it is..but its the Energy Star...it has the digital settings. It doesnt have any added features like the steam or anything like that. But i can tell you definitely save alot on water with the frontloaders cause they dont use as much water. My mom did my laundry once when i was sick and she even commented on how whites the white load came out. Oh and you have to use HE(high efficiency) detergent with it...otherwise it leaves soap suds in your wash. I learned that from experience too..although it said it right in the instructions (duh!)
If you get it at Best Buy you could always buy the extended warranty with it..that way you know you at least get a certain number of years out of it. We do that with our giant screen tv's.
