We had our two dogs out for a walk and met this man with a toy poodle. We started talking and he tells me that he's got his poodle out to see if he can get her to start labour. This is her first and last litter. Then he tells me that she is seven years old and she's greying around the muzzle - we were just curious, isn't seven way too old for a first litter or any litter at all. What is the oldest, saftest age for a dog to give birth. Yep, both of ours are neutered, but I can't stop thinking about this little pup.
