Default amputation

hi ,,, my poor little sonny boy went through a big operation this afternoon, he got his left hind leg completely removed. i had been worried sick no sleep last night , worrying how he was goin to be with the anesetic, i phoned at 5 today and they are keeping him in for a couple off days, i no he is in better hands at the minute, the vet said he still drowsy but tryin to move about, and all went well. thank god! was wonderin if there is any advice for after care, i have a cage etc, it was more on toilet issues x
