I too am in need of advice. I always kept my first yorkie clipped around the eyes. Now, I want to train them but I made the mistake of trimming when I got her. Now it IS taking forever as said in a previous post. I'm glad you printed this because I was beginning to wonder if I should trim it again or give up. I'll keep trying. Also the vaseline!!! Thank you. I was wondering what to use to try to keep it up without drying it as my Mari has cotton hair.
