Where did you mention that they are in their 50s?? I somehow missed that. I only saw retired couple.
And...honestly the only thing anyone was saying was to be careful about placing a younger pupster with an older retired couple. 50 is not elderly.
These might indeed be great people for her....I don't think anyone said they are not. Everyone was TRYING to suggest to you that an older retired couple might not be good with a young pupster. That's all.
