I know with my Teddi she likes to poop privately. She will pee on the pad in the kitchen but won't poop there. I have to put another pad in the corner of the dining room for her to poop. If you dog has a place they seem to be pooping try putting a pad there and see if they will use it. Also, I wouldn't let them have the full run of the house because it's too big a space for them and I think they forget where to go. Teddi only gets the living room, kitchen and dining room. I shut the door to the hallway. Good luck.
