We know it because we see it ALL of the time ... we are the ones that clean up all of the mistakes that others make.
How many people promise that they will take care of an elderly parent's pup should they die...and THEN take them to shelters after the parent dies or ends up in a nursing home??? I really should keep track of the numbers....just awful.
It has scared me enough to tell my family to please euthanize my pups if they cannot personally care for them in the event of my death. NO WAY do I ever want them to go through the living hell I see so many pups go through. There IS a fate worse than humane euthanasia.
