I have to do the same with Rosco. He won't eat it unless I put Parmasan cheese on it or a little shredded cheese. I also mix a little baked fish with his food. Personally I don't think its a bad thing to mix human food with dog food as long as it a little bit. Unsalted green beans, peas, cottage cheese, yogurt, rice,baked fish, chicken broth, shredded cheese. I have used all of the above
