Welcome to YT.
Since you are fairly new to YT, I am going to paste something here for your education. Perhaps if you stick around long enough you will learn about the many issues that yorkies have that often cost a lot of money to treat. Giving them to people who cannot afford them can only serve to put them in homes that will end up having to rehome them again. They are a high maintenance breed.
I am not going to address WHY rescues have so many because it takes too much time and I am quite sure most of the people on this thread already know.
So....here you go...please read this link and understand WHY rescues must charge the adoption fees that they do. Rescues NEVER break even with adoption fees....they are left to raise money in other ways. Adopting IS cheaper than buying a yorkie because they are fully vetted including spay/neuter. You also need to realize that anyone who sells a yorkie cheap probably is not breeding healthy yorkies...maybe not always, but more often than not.
