I noticed that Emilio had a lump in his "groin" area, where the back leg attaches. Sometimes it is really protruding and other times not noticeable at all. This just started a week or so ago. I took him into the vet and they said that it is an inguinal hernia and needs to be repaired. He said that right now it just appears to be fatty tissue that is coming out but that it could become more serious and intestines or bladder could come thru the opening. So...he said that he needs to have surgery to repair it. I am very nervous. He is just a little 4 pounder!! He is our baby and I am very nervous!!! Has anyone else had this happen? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
