| I forwarded this thread to my husband, as well as some links.
My regular vet didn't seem very concerned but I think we are going to take her to an ER vet as soon as he gets home, which can't come soon enough. (2 hours probably )
I just gave her a bunch of nutrical and water. I feel so helpless... I needed to do something and read a bunch of tips on what you can do right away if you think this has happened (ways to counteract hypoglycemia).
Soooooo........ hopefully he'll be home sooner than later. I don't have friends or family around here. I hate this!!!! I don't even know if she swallowed the damn gum and now I am going to lose major money that we don't even have treating something I don't even know if she has!
GAH! This is brutal. I am throwing away every piece of gum in this house and never buying any again. I had no idea. Of all the things the puppy books and brochures warn you about, gum is not on any of them. |
