It has to be expensive & dangerous, and if you don't know what you are doing disasterous! and i myself could not bear to sell or even give away the pups as i would consider them members of my family!!I understand why good breeders are so careful in choosing their adoptive parents for their fur babies! i think people want to breed their pets for many reasons. but for the most part, it seems like they want to do it for either money reasons (they want to sell the puppies to make $ or 'recover' some of the purchase price of their pet dogs) or because they think their pet dog is perfect. (and i think most dog owners think their dogs are perfect)
i had wanted to do it because i think my dog is perfect and i want more dogs like her and i wanted to keep all the puppies myself... i can never be a breeder, i cannot give away any puppies, i just wouldn't be able to do it.
i know that some breeders enforce the contract by not sending the buyer AKC papers until they provide proof of neuter/spay.
