I'm not following you around today, Mardelin, honest. Again I have to thank you for such a thoughtful comment. While YTCA is overall a good sign, it is by no means a guarantee of good breeding. And, some of us choose not to pursue membership for a variety of reasons. For my part, I'm in New England. The entire region has maybe 10 members listed in the breeder directory with only 4 or 5 of those showing. Only one in my state shows. It's just darned difficult to cultivate the friendships and navigate the political waters---My breeding also is very international and I don't want to defend things like whether or not to dock a tail to conform to a standard I pledged to uphold. Anyway, YTCA is good, but if a breeder otherwise looks good and doesn't belong, ask why and evaluate the answer yourself.
