The YTCA question although a good one, not really necessary, not all good breeders belong to the club. It's a matter of choice, but very difficult to become a member. It consists mostely of exhibitor/breeders or those that have retired from showing, with a few pet owners. And most of the time one has to be invited to become a member, so if one doesn't show, you haven't had the opportunity to network and be sponsored by existing members.
But do a google search on how to find a good breeder. I've stated over and over you buy your breeder first then your puppy.
