This isn't about cutting the nails, but about the shape and look of the nails, hence i decided to post here.

Uni's kinda small, and her nails are nice and smooth, and taper to a point and dark almost black. Katie is a bit of a bigger girl, and her nails are not all dark, some lighter, the ends don't taper, and look quite honestly like macaroni. The first time my bf saw them he said, eww why are her nails so ugly?

So, why are they? Does it have something to do with her former unhealthy diet? (Beneful) Why are they not all dark? Will they get better with a better diet?
