Here's a problem I worry about when placing a "young" dog with an older "retired" couple...will the dog outlive the couple? Something VERY important to consider when placing a young dog, is what plans are in place if the unfortunate happens one or both owners die before their beloved pet does.

I have actually sat in the Vet's office and heard first hand people bring in a relative or friends dog to be put down because the owner passed away and there were no other plans for this pet set in place.

Please make sure you consider the "age-factor" into this placement.
