well i blended up his Royal canin 1/8 cup with 1/8 cup water last nite, covered and put in fridge. This morning i microwaved it for a few seconds to get it luke warm (i figured the cold may hurt is bad gums?) and fed him the whole meal at once and NO THROW UP! It had a few chunks in it as well, and he still did fine
he let out 2 ENORMOUS burps after but still good. I still think he may need a new food, bc of the itching around face and stuff, but im gonna keep him on the royal canin for at least a month or 2 just in case, since the vet said it can take that long to see results when an allergy is removed. After that, if he still throws up or sounds sticky on Royal Canin, ill probably switch to something with no corn to see if that could be it, as its the ONLY thing thats not in the Euk canned he was on that he had no problems with. At this point it could be any allergy b/c i think he just has a lot of snot or nasal drip that makes it hard to eat hard food for some reason, and the wet/mashed food could just be working bc its easier to get it passed the snottyness. at least i know what works and is quicker!! BUT I wish i knew what the allergy was so my baby could never have to be around it again!
