I was very happy that the breeder we got Trixie from decided not to dock her tail and follow the european custom. It is so nice to see her wagging that big beautiful tail! Biscuit had his tail docked way to short so you could barely see it move....I always felt bad that he had to endure pain for no reason.
I personally love the tail on my yorkie, but I understand others wanting to adhere to breed standard. Trixie is our pet, not a show dog, so her tail is perfect!
